We pulled in at around 6 pm ,after a day in NY, for a short visit. in Philly.
We were in a super good mood. I guess it was the Philly vibe or something. and we were just so excited to see the Second Bank of the US. haha I don't know why. But we recycled some outdated newspapers and started doing a Newsies dance we had learned so very long ago. with Newspapers. Just look at Whitney with the stack.
We got to see the Liberty Bell through the glass. (since it was closed) It was super cool, since I've learned so much about that history in school and such.
Independance Hall. Where the Decleration Of Independance was written and signed. And where amazing, inteligent men once spent many many hours.
And then all of a sudden... It started raining like crazy! We were all soaked. drenched.
But that didn't stop us from dancing and singing in the rain. :) It was a blast!
Yes!!! East Coast rain storms. When it rains... it rains hard!
Since we were in Philly, and my brothers love Rocky, we just had to go to "the stairs" where he trained and ran up and down the stairs. in the movie.
and they of course had to do it too!! with their shirts off. even my dad. just like rocky.They said the rain was even better because it was raining when he ran.
And we couldn't leave Philadelphia without eating a Philly Cheese Steak and cheese fries. at Genos. Oh it was good! Philly was short, but very sweet.
We did a lot in such a short time.
Today was a great day. :)
