temples in my lifetime.

Stand ye in holy places,
and be not moved, until the day of the Lord come;
for behold, it cometh quickly.
D&C 87:8

LDS Temples are just amazing, they are literally the houses of the lord. They are so special to me in my life. I am so lucky to have one so very close that I can visit. I love doing baptisms for the dead in the temple (which I need to do more often) but every time I do, I feel a great spirit that stays with me for the rest of the day. I can not wait until the day that I can be married for all eternity inside the temple. The other day I was thinking about them, as I was driving by the temple, and how beautiful and different each one is designed. I came to think that I have visited so many temples in my lifetime thus far:

San Diego, California Temple.
This is way back when.
I remember this time perfectly, Martins and Barbens in Cali. Trying to be reverent on the temple grounds...
This temple is absolutely beautiful.
A few years later, when we turned 12 we went back and actually got to go do baptisms. It is amazing inside and out! I love passing it every time we visit California.

Draper, Utah temple is wonderful!
Before we went and watched the Young Women Broadcast in March 2009, we got to actually go to the Draper temple and do baptisms for the dead once again. But the cool thing was that we were one of the first groups to actually perform baptisms in this temple, since it was newly dedicated.

Oquirrh Mountain, Utah Temple is also a new temple, as of 2009.

The youth from my Snow Canyon Stake got the chance, for Youth Conference, to go and visit the Open House. Since it was not yet dedicated, we got the chance to enter every room of the temple. It was absolutely marvelous! My favorite room was the Celestial room, I could just feel the spirit so strong in there. I learned and felt so much from this experience.

oh the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple!
Words can not describe how much I love this temple. I just think it is amazingly beautiful. Although I have only been here a couple of times-particularly YW temple trip and Marae and Ben's Wedding, I still love it. No wonder it took the saints 40 years to build!

Manti, Utah Temple is very gorgeous I must say.
Located right on top of a green, grassy hill (Temple hill).
We got to visit here after Marae's wedding. My parents showed us where they went to college, met, and such. Then we got to see this wonderful beauty! (My parents actually visited this temple on Friday!)

St. George, Utah Temple. Now my home temple. again
I love this temple so very much. It is just gorgeous with the red rock scenery and such. I take it for-granite way to much, I'm so lucky I have a temple so close to home.

Vancouver, B.C. Temple
Okay, so we got to go to the temple open house in Canada!
I felt this was such a great experience for me and everyone in my family. We were lucky enough to go since we lived so close in WA. The temple was, of course, absolutely beautiful inside and out. :)

Seattle, Washington Temple
When I lived in Washington, we didn't live to close to the temple. But I did get to do baptisms for the dead once. We went with the youth of my Oak Harbor ward, my dad went also since he was the ym pres. I had a great time there, and enjoyed it thoroughly. It is The House of the Lord.

Theee Road Trip: It seems like we saw so many temples on our 6 week long roady trip. and we did. 7. well 10 counting Seattle as we left, San Diego in Cali, and St. George. But I do now wish that we would of visited a lot more temples!

The Nauvoo, Illinois Temple. Was Incredible!
I loved visiting this temple so much! It was crazy to think that one day the temple that Joseph Smith and so many saints labored on once stood in that very spot. And that this temple is a replica of the 1st. It was amazing, I felt the spirit just standing there. In the Nauvoo Pageant, I loved how you can see the temple exactly in the distance. It was a great reminder of the hard labor they put into building the temple, even in the end when they knew they would have to later leave it behind.

Palmyra, New York Temple is in the very distance. It was beautiful, I wish we could of captured a picture up close, but it was raining so hard that we couldn't even get one. I love how you can see the temple at the very site of Joseph Smith's home in Palmyra and in the Sacred Grove.

Boston, Massachusetts Temple was awesome.
even though it took us quite a while to find. But I'm glad we did find it. I loved how it was located right by the church, just up a short path. :)

Manhattan, New York Temple was awesome!
It's crazy that it is right downtown New York. With all the craziness of traffic, people, and such. There is also a church upstairs that we went to. It is a great place to go to get out of all the evils of the world!

Newport Beach, California Temple it was super cool.
It was a light tint of pink. awesome right?
Thee fam at the Newport Beach temple.
We loved visiting all of these temples, even though some were out of our way. It was sure worth it though!

Los Angeles, California Temple
On our way to the beach, we turned the corner, and there was the temple. We didn't even know it was there, right on the side of a busy intersection. So we snapped a fast picture. It was beautiful, even from the car view.
I hope to visit a lot more temples in my lifetime!

Well to sum it all up...

I love to see the temple.....I'm going there someday. :)
