Roadtripping Day 1 & 2: Driving to OK & TX
Taking this, pretty much, 24+ hr ride to Beaumont, TX we needed some extra fun pit stops along the way... so that's just what we did! I found an awesome app called Roadtrippers which led us to discover some awesome places along the way. Because these 7 kids (& mom) can't handle sitting too long
& we're off.
In Santa Rosa, NM we found a fun family lake with a slide & diving board that went right into the lake. They also had free paddle boats and a "tractor boat" to ride. It was so fun & oh so refreshing
Plus, it was this kid's birthday! Cutest 9 year old I know!
Right next to the little lake in Santa Rosa, NM there was 800 ft deep diving hole called the Blue Hole of Santa Rosa. It was FREEZING, BLUE, & oh so FUN. This was by far my favorite pit stop. It was so random and in the middle of no where!
Cadillac Ranch in the middle of a Texas field. They let everyone spray paint all over them. Bronson made his Wolfpack mark on Texas for his tournament (which was the entire reason for the road trip). Ohhh & that mud from the random rain storm a couple hours before.
ohh. & then we finally made it to Oklahoma City, OK (you know I was thinking of sister swensen the whole drive through it). We got to pick up dad from work & bring him to Texas with us!
